Windows:   Tips,  Tuneups,  Tweaks  &   Utilities    This is an accumulation of some of "all the stuff" out there that is available to those of us who want to 'fiiddle' with our computer settings. Some of them improve performance and others are just 'eye candy'. My experience has indicated that I SHOULD READ the INSTRUCTIONS before I use any of these often powerful tools. So, be sure to familiarize yourself with the application prior to launching it... and, as I have done, finding yourself in unfamiliar cyber spaces - like fatal errors, BSOD's or scrambled registries. My personal adventures have been that a 'clean machine' results in a much more efficient and enjoyable computing experience. Every day: I delete cookies, temporary files, defragment and optimize and my computer runs crisper and faster as a result. Also, be sure that your anti-Virus program is up to date and running in the background...scan frequently! This is by no means an all inclusive comprehensive list, and new programs are created daily.
